A little bit about me.

At 16 years old, I received a call from the most popular guy at school. He asked me out on a date. Going out with him would boost my popularity off the charts! Wow.

I turned him down.

This event marked the beginning of a way of life for me. That small voice within became my north star.
The following week I learned that this boy crashed his car on the very night I would have been on a date with him. If I had been with him, I would have been in the car when it crashed and somehow, when he asked me out I knew I needed to miss this date.

I kept this newfound knowledge to myself. My intuition led me where I needed to go and other people would not understand, of this I was sure. Seeking out teachers, I met my first in 1997 when Sonia Choquette published “Your Heart’s Desire.” Finally, I found someone who was like me!

The fire was lit! I studied for years. Books, lectures…anything I could find. But my skill sat in kind of a secret box. In fact, I felt that I could only use it when my crystals were out and flute music was playing. This thing, being so different from anything else in life, needed to be coaxed with music and supported with tools, or so I thought.

Over the years I integrated it into my day-to-day life, realizing that it was not to be kept secret. This part of me serves when I am all the way out and authentic about it. Intuition is not separate, it is a part of my everyday life. Like my lungs or my eyes.

Just like a tuning into a radio station – at first there is nothing, then you start to hear music, and when you get exactly on the station, the message is very clear. Then you can change the station to anything you desire. For me, intuition works like that.

In the pursuit of always learning and augmenting my skills I have carefully selected my masters and teachers, distilling what works for me in a modern life with typical pressures. I am out in the world, not sequestered in a room. That said, daily practical meditation is an integral part of my life. I am able to thrive off the cushion because I spend time on the cushion. A few minutes a day makes a huge difference. A 10 day silent retreat is not for me. I like to talk and sit in comfortable chairs!

Along my journey, I acquired real experience –20 years in strategic planning, budget negotiations, corporate layoff and reorganization plans. Numbers geek + intuition = Operations Wizard. I’ve sat on both sides of the desk when things are tough and tougher decisions are on the horizon. I understand the pressure of being the best and brightest in your career while maintaining a vibrate personal life.

My life’s mission is to integrate scholar, psychic, entrepreneur, working mom, wife, caretaker of aging parents, hospice worker, homeowner, pet owner, and human being. I keep a lot of balls in the air, but through practice I move seamlessly through these roles. You won’t find me just sitting in a cave reading and waiting for things to happen…I’m out there making it happen!

In my spare time you’ll find me on the porch of my bright purple house in Portland, Oregon with my husband, two intuitive daughters, and five ascended masters posing as house cats.

Every morning presents us with the unique opportunity to start the rest of our life right there, right now. I am here to facilitate tuning in and sharing with you the best part of the journey – you!

Welcome to the rest of your life.
